The timescale of a website design project is generally dictated by the client. The time frame is also determined by the size and complexity of of your website and our current workload.
2. Can I order web design packages online?
You can order design packages using our PayPal shopping cart, as opposed to our other carts (CHRONOPAY or MoneyBookers) which are programs used to send templates in .zip form to your e-mail box.
3. What is Web Design?
The process of conceptualization, planning, modeling, and execution of electronic media content delivery via Internet in the form of technologies (such as markup languages) suitable for interpretation and display by a web browser or other web-based graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
4. What is Web Hosting?
Web hosting is a yearly fee that you pay to have your site accessible on the Internet.
5. What is a Domain Name?
A domain name is a specific web site address that you choose and register to identify your business. The domain names may end in .com, .edu, .gov, .biz, .info, .us, etc. We provide domain names for our clients.
6. Can you provide all of the services I need to get my site online?
Yes! PUTNAM Web Design is a one-stop-shop for all of your web design and development needs. There is no need to go anywhere else!
7. Will my website be secure if I decide to sell products or services?
Yes. We have Secure Servers (SSL Certificates) which use the latest encryption methods to ensure that your customers can buy from your website knowing that the information they enter is secure and safe.
8. In what format should I supply the content for my website?
It is helpful to us if you are able to provide text and photographs in electronic form - for example, the files output by a digital camera and the words in MS word or similar format. If, for any reason, this is not possible, you can send physical content and we will send these materials back to you ASAP.
9. Once my website design is completed, what aftersales service do you offer?
We fully support any website we build and are always available should you encounter any problems or require any enhancements. We offer website maintenance so that your website will never be out of date.
10. Can I see my site while it is under development?
Of course! - In fact, we expect it because your input and approval throughout the developmental stages of your site ensures a successful launch.
11. How much does a website cost?
The cost of a website varies depending on the site and complexity. Factors include - how many pages you are going to have, if you will sell products on your website, the graphic work involved, how interactive your future we site will be, or if you decide to use any one of our exlusive or non-exclusive website templates. You will also need web hosting and domain name registration, or possibly a SSL certificate. Fill out our quote request form and we will send you an estimate. We also provide set website design and development packages to choose from for any kind of budget.
12. Do you offer any discounts or promotional codes?
Yes - we offer discounts to schools and donations to non-profit organizations of our choosing. We also provide promotional codes to our preferred customers, which are sent via e-mail. We often times provide codes on a monthy basis too. These can be found directly on our website and other affiliated sites.
13. What is website maintenance?
Website maintenace provides unlimited minor changes to your website after the initial launch. This does not include the addition of new pages or major changes, such as an entire page revision.
14. I already have a site - can you help me improve it?
Yes! We would be happy to look at your existing website and give you a quote for updating it to your specifications.
15. Do you provide e-mail services?
Yes - you can have multiple email addresses set-up, with or without a design package. (e.i. info@your-domain.com, john.smith@your-domain.com, etc.).
16. Are there any hidden costs or fees?
Absolutely Not! We discuss with you your website requirements and then price accordingly. Once you have placed an order for your website design with us, that price is strictly adhered to.
17. What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, echeck, money orders, wire transfer, PayPal, and most major credit cards. We are in the process of adding Google Checkout to our site.
18. Do you display any banners or pop-ups on my site?
Absolutely Not! - It's your website and you have total control over the contents and who advertises on it.

1. What are the advantages of purchasing a website template?
The major advantage is price: You get a high quality design for just $20-$70. Second advantage is time frame: It usually takes 5-15 days for our designers to produce new custom web pages of such quality.
2. What do I receive when I order a template?
After you complete the payment via our secure form, then you will receive a confirmation email with link(s) to download .zip(s). The .zip file(s) contains the following: PSD file(s), HTML file(s), fonts and advanced clipart library.
You will need unzipping software to open the .zip archive. Windows users may visit www.HotScripts.com or www.WinZip.com. Mac users may visit www.StuffIt.com.
3. In what formats are your templates available?
Website templates are available in Photoshop and HTML formats. Fonts are included with Photoshop file. In most templates, HTML is compatible with Adobe GoLive, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Frontpage.
4. What am I allowed and not allowed to do with the templates?
You may:
Build a website using the template in any way you like.
You may not:
Resell or redistribute templates (like we do).
Claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of our products, modified or unmodified. All products are property of content providing companies and individuals.
Make more than one project using the same template (you have to purchase the same template once more in order to make another project with the same design)
5. What is the difference between unique and non-unique purchase?
NON-UNIQUE PURCHASE:
Non-exclusive purchase means that other people can buy the template you have chosen some time later.
UNIQUE PURCHASE:
Exclusive purchase guarantees that you are the last person to buy this template. After an exclusive purchase occurs the template is being permanently removed from our sales directory and will never be available to our other customers again.
6. Is it reasonable to make a non-unique purchase of template that was already purchased before?
Yes, because there is very small chance that you will find the same design on the net. There are more than 3,000,000,000 web pages online now according to statistics on www.google.com.
7. Is the license a one-time fee payment?
Yes, the payment for your template is a one-time fee without any additional charges. After purchasing you may use the template as many times as you need for one website.
8. Is it possible for me to pay one price and have access to all downloads for a certain amount of time?
Sorry, we do not provide membership based services other than our web design services.
9. I would like to make payment by company check. Is that possible?

10. Is there any return policy?
Since our company is offering non-tangible irrevocable goods we do not issue refunds after the product is shipped, which you are responsible for understanding upon purchasing any article at our site. Please make sure that you've carefully read 'sources available' section. We only make exceptions with this rule when the product appears to be not-as-described on a case by case basis in agreement of the parties concerned. The deadline for any refund claim is one week after the delivery date.
11. I ordered a template but haven't received the download information.
In this case please contact our Affiliate Department via e-mail (billing@template-help.com). They handle all inquiries regarding our templates.
12. I was billed twice. I received 2 emails from merchant.
Make sure that these charges have different order IDs. If it is so, contact our billing department.
13. Is it possible to reactivate my download link if it was deactivated after 3 days?
Yes. Please contact our affiliate billing department and they will reactivate your link.
14. I would like to purchase a template, but it is not available on the site anymore.
The template has been sold out for exclusive price. Look for similar templates in our collection!
16. Are your templates Microsoft FrontPage compatible?
Most of templates come with HTML that is compatible with Adobe GoLive, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Frontpage. Please check the 'sources available field in the template preview window.
17. What is Adobe Photoshop?
Adobe Photoshop is the world's most popular graphics editing package. You can find more info about Photoshop and download a free trial version at Adobe website.
18. What software do you recommend for making HTML?
We think that Adobe (Macromedia) Dreamweaver is definately the best.
19. How can I modify the Flash portion of the template?
You need to use Macromedia FlashTM to edit animated part of the template. Please visit the site of the developer: http://www.adobe.com/products/
20. When I try to open the Flash .fla file, I get an error Unexpected file format.
This means that .fla file is incompatible with your Flash version. Please install Flash MX2004 or Flash 8 (check the software requirements to the template) to edit this file.
21. Can I edit a Flash template in Swish?
No. Our flash templates can be edited only with Macromedia FlashTM
22. Can I change the pictures on the flash animated website and put my own pictures instead?
Yes, you can.
23. Can your company design and edit my new templates?
Absolutely! The PUTNAM Web Design team is highly experienced and ready to begin your request. Our high-quality pre-made design templates save time and money. Although, we do also offer exclusive custom designs for those who want there own origional and unique website.
24. Is the installation service included in the purchase?
Some of our products like osCommerce templates, Zen Cart templates, etc. require installation to operate. These templates are not currently added to our template catelog and installation services are not included in the template package price. Please contact us for more information if you are interested in these products.
